Perhaps it makes more sense to add up the different kits for one particular camera. This increases the work, but how can you accurately display how popular a camera is, when, in the case of the Pentax K-x, there are a dozen different kinds?

This is as it is because individual camera kits are ranked at Amazon, they are not grouped by individual camera model. It would be nice if they were, but unfortunately they are not.
Manipulating this in any other way would mean introducing new data that is simply not there.
